Hoe kunnen we gezonder leven in Brussel?

Context: Its not a secret the distance for many people in the center to a park is often far. A park promotes health, sport and encourages social meetings. In the center there are not many places that have easy potential to become a park. However the place Rouppe has enormous potential to be a park without interfering with necessary traffic. Park Rouppe With the current situation you have a fountain with a perk of grass around it and for the rest you have 4 parkings and a big roundabout. If the four parkings and roundabout are transformed to one big park you would create a beautiful green zone and you can use the outer 4 streets of the square as roads for the cars to pass therefore having minimal impact on traffic (see annexed illustration). Conclusion: Combine this new beautiful green zone with the new metrostop thats already being built nearby would create an accessible park which promotes tourism, creates a beautiful place for commerce and has little impact on necessary traffic.
